Above left you see the beginning stages of a commercial building facelift.  The cinderblock walls were ugly, required constant painting, and the design restrictions of cinderblock made the face of the building flat and uninteresting. Metal framing and R panel provided a solution. a mansard enhanced the building's street appearance and prefinished metal panels covered the cinder block walls--eliminating recurring painting cost for years to come. The same building's corrugated walls in back had seen their better days. The galvanized finish was starting to go, and the panels had been neglected and hit several times over the years. Also, the business owner thought an awning and a another large door and a walk door in back would be useful. (Mouse over for before image.)

The building above also had leaking flat roof that had defied numerous attempts at repair. Sloped framing sections were affixed to the old roof surface and a new metal roof was retrofitted over it.
